Tampa Bay community leaders and supporters gathered to celebrate service and invest in mentorship, education, wellness, and economic empowerment.
TAMPA, Fla. — Community leaders, business professionals, supporters and advocates for youth development came together for Brunch with the 100: Elevating Legacy & Leadership, a signature event hosted by 100 Black Men of Tampa Bay, Inc. that celebrated service while investing in the next generation.
More than a social gathering, the annual brunch serves as a fundraiser and community engagement event that advances the chapter’s mission of improving the quality of life in the communities it serves through mentorship, education, health and wellness, and economic empowerment. Since its founding in 2002, the Tampa Bay chapter has worked across nine counties to create opportunities that help young people achieve academic success, develop leadership skills and prepare for lifelong achievement.
Held at Jackson’s Bistro on Tampa’s waterfront, this year’s theme, “Elevating Legacy & Leadership,” reflected the organization’s unwavering commitment to building stronger communities by investing in young people today. Guests enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship, inspiration and purpose while supporting programs that connect youth with mentors, scholarships, career development opportunities and health initiatives.
The event also highlighted the four pillars that guide the work of 100 Black Men of Tampa Bay—Mentoring, Education & Scholarship, Health & Wellness, and Economic Empowerment. Every program and initiative is designed to empower youth with the knowledge, confidence and resources needed to become successful leaders in their schools, careers and communities.
As supporters gathered to celebrate the chapter’s accomplishments, the message was clear: meaningful change begins with committed leadership and a willingness to invest in others. Through events like Brunch with the 100, the organization continues to strengthen partnerships, expand its impact and ensure that future generations have access to the guidance and opportunities they deserve.
